Considerations for blood evidence:

  • Air-dry entire item or swabs that were used to collect the evidence
  • Label every item, package and seal (separately) in paper bags or boxes
  • Keep all blood evidence as cold as possible
  • Submit all evidence to the laboratory as soon as possible
