Welcome

In this scenario you will enter the crime scene as an evidence technician. You will be given choices regarding how to handle DNA evidence. Your actions will be the determining factor influencing a jury verdict.

This training tool is intended as a guide to recommended policies for identification, preservation, and collection of DNA evidence. It may not be applicable to all situations or crime scenes. You should apply your local department or agency's procedures and applicable laws governing the use, collection, and processing of DNA evidence.
